Duct Services
Your air duct system is an integral part of your HVAC system because it moves the hot and cold air throughout your home. Many homeowners have leaky and inefficient ducts that force your HVAC system to work harder to get your home to your desired temperature. Not only does this waste money and energy, but it also affects the comfort of your home. Titan Mechanical HVAC can help you solve these problems by inspecting your current duct system and identifying the issues.
We offer the following Duct Services:
Duct Installation
Duct Repair
One of the most energy efficient ways to make your home feel more comfortable is by sealing and insulating your duct system.
Geothermal
Geothermal systems are the most environmentally responsible and energy efficient means of temperature control on the market.
A geothermal system consists of a heat pump and ground loop. Taking advantage of a constant, year-round ground temperature of 55 degrees, heat is simply moved to and from your home.
The benefits of geothermal are:
Clean to operate
Eco-friendly
Effective dehumidification
Exceptional year round comfort
Four hundred percent efficiency ratings
Geothermal heat pumps lasts 20+ years
Improve indoor air quality
Low in maintenance
No production of carbon monoxide or other greenhouse gases
Save up to 70% on utility bills
Ductless Mini-Split
Mini-split systems are a great solution for homes that are heated with a steam or hot water boiler. As opposed to traditional HVAC methods powered by an air conditioner or furnace that force air through a series of ducts, mini-split systems are entirely ductless.
Popular uses for mini-split systems are:
Older Homes
Sun Rooms
Outbuildings
New Additions and Remodels
Home Offices
Home Theater Rooms
Central Air Conditioning
Some of the benefits of central air systems are:
Cleaner Air
Effective Circulation
Reduce Noise
Ease of Use
Multiple Functions
There are a lot of benefits from opting for a central air conditioner over window units. A central AC is sized and its ductwork designed according to the needs of your home. This means that you’ll enjoy a more customized cooling experience, which in turn means that you’ll be able to cool your home more effectively and efficiently.
The key to getting a great performance from any central air conditioning system is to have your system installed by a trained professional. If your system is not right size for your home, it is going to struggle to cool your living space effectively and affordably.
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps move heat from one area to another. Unlike furnaces that take in fuel and burn it to create heat, heat pumps do not generate their own heat. Instead they extract it. In the winter they take heat from the air outside and transfer it to the indoor air, which is then circulated through your home.
In the summer, the process is reversed, and your heat pump can remove heat from your indoor air and send it outside to keep the indoors cool and comfortable. So rather than installing a separate heating and cooling system, the heat pump provides both functions in one compact, affordable system.
